Linux is fun !

“Linux is fun !” that’s what a non-tech savy (and computer hater) friend of mine said while using my laptop
That makes me believe that the GNU/Linux desktop has a really promising and bright future.

The truth is that the GNU/Linux desktop is fun after being setup and configured, because sometimes getting things working can be very hairy, and although it is generaly not better under other operating systems, I think this is where improvement should go to make it really fun from the day 0.

oh, and this is supposed to be my first blog post so “Hello World”
